Description

Here is an old drawing that I created for my GCSE artwork in the style of Alexis Diaz.
I used watercolour paints and a black biro to create this, let me know what you think! :happybounce:

This, to me, is a very intriguing and very articulate work of visual poetry.

I believe it to be a metaphor for one of the many tragedies of modern life: the slow and painful destruction of nature, and how several of us struggle on a daily basis to prevent it from happening.

You can very easily see the struggle in which the bird (I'm assuming it's a crow, or something black and in the cuorvidae family) is caught in, the struggle to break the bonds of human sin, to be free from oppression, to soar through the clear, open blue sky in peace and harmony.

This is a clear representation of the pain we humans inflict on wild life. We have to be aware of this. If we all learn to reserve the rights of animals and nature, the world will be a better place to live.

It's deep.
